Using Pr0xy for faster surfing speed

I know Its a common questions everyone have in thire mind that, Why My Internet is so slow?, Need to do something to get more speed, or need to buy a higher package from ISP, even I too think the same sometimes.

Recently I came through a site: XROXY, a website that provides pr0xies, are always up to date and listed in an organized way. User could narrow down to find the pr0xy base on Port, Type of Pr0xy, SSL, Country, Latency, Reliability. The parameter you need to mark down will be IP Address and Port Number. As an example, 125.245.196.194 (IP) and 8080 (Port).

So, You have already visited the site, I Bet! If you didnt please go to it and get a required IP of your choice and the port number. Now You have Pr0xy IP and the port number what to do next?? I have a detailed tute bellow follow it as per your browser requirements.

Firefox Users

To use proxy on Firefox 3.x, from the menu go to Tools> Options> Advanced> Network. Do the settings as follow. Remember to replace HTTP Proxy and Port with your own.

There is a field “No Proxy for”, you can fill in the same as the one given here, or you can simply ignore it as it is used only if you are using some server hosting application.

For I.E Users

For Internet Explorer 7.x, go to Tools> Options> Connections> LAN Settings

For Google Chrome Users

For Google Chrome 1.0.x , it is under [spanner icon]> Options> Under the Hood> Network> Change Proxy Settings. The proxy settings of Google Chrome is the same as Internet Explorer.

Opera Users
